The Blue Fish
(or more accurately Le Poisson Bleu) is a stone built old grange comprising of two storeys. The ground floor has a large
modern kitchen opening onto a lounge area. The ceiling retains the original oak beams and contrasts well with the white painted
walls. There is a seperate dining room off from this, providing a more formal setting if required.
On the first floor, originally the habitat for two barn owls, there are three
bedrooms (masterbedroom/bunkbeds/twin room)
A separate
WC resides besides the piece de resistance, a luxury shower enclosure with multiple jets. Great for removing that salt after
a day on the beach!
The barn appears to
have had an interesting history. Part of it contains two wine storage tanks, each of 89 hectlitres, now sadly empty! The top
floors owls fought for space with hundreds of bottles, so it would appear that the barn may have been used for serving low
grade wine to the local populace.
